Mrs. Christy Lynn Pilson Stowe

Mrs. Christy Lynn Pilson Stowe age 42 of Stuart passed away Saturday March 5, 2011 at Pioneer Community Hospital. She was born in Patrick County on October 22, 1968. She was a 1987 graduate of Patrick County High School; received an Associates Degree from National Business College; worked in the housekeeping department at the Blue Ridge Nursing Center; and was a member of Sycamore Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her father in law, Carson Lincoln Stowe.
Surviving are her husband, Terry Lincoln Stowe of the home; one daughter, Kelly Stowe of Stuart; one son, Terry Lee Stowe also of the home; her father and step-mother, Ralph and Brenda Kay "Mom" Pilson of Woolwine; her mother, Dana Vernon Arden of Spencer; one sister, Karen Bocock of Stuart; one step sister, Holly Conner of Woolwine; two step brothers, Joe Verran of Detroit, MI and Matt Verran of Lapeer, MI; three nieces, three nephews, one great niece; and her mother in law and step father in law, Dorothy Ann and Charlie Chaney of Stuart.
Funeral services will be held Monday, March 7, 2011 at 12:30 PM at Sycamore Baptist Church with Revs. Gerald Melton and JR Shelton officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends beginning at 11:00 AM at the church. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society c/o Charmaine Atkins, P O Box 10, Claudville, VA 24076.
