Mrs. Clorine Humphries Bass

Mrs. Clorine Humphries Bass age 87 of 1010 Forest Drive, Mt. Airy, NC wife of Mr. Jack Bass passed away March 3, 2015 at Central Continuing Care. She was born February 3, 1928 in Surry County to thelate Crawford Lee And Lillie May Tickle Humphries. She was retired from Spencer's Incorporated and was of the Baptist Faith. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Patricia Taylor of Mt. Airy, two grandsons and wife, Larry Mark and Donna Taylor of Galax, VA, and Johnny William Taylor of Mt. Airy, a brother and sisters-in-law,, Luther "Louie" and Shirley Humphries of Pilot Mountain, and Rhonda Humphries of Mt. Airy. In addition to Her Parents, Mrs. Humpries was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Ruth Humphries and two brothers, Gilbert Humphries and Jerry Humphries. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Thursday, March 5, 2015 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel. The service will be conducted by Rev. Dale Bass. Burial will follow in the Oakdale Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday night from 6:00 to 8:00 at the funeral home.
