Mrs. Dina Lucille "Betty" York Hull

Mrs. Dina Lucille "Betty" York Hull, 86, of Lambsburg, VA passed away Thursday, March 22, 2018 at Northern Hospital of Surry County. She was born in Carroll County on February 26, 1932 to the late Charlie and Mazie Surratt York. Mrs. Hull is survived by her children, Tony Gray Lyons and wife, Angie, Terry Ray Lyons and wife, Doris, Larry Charles Lyons and wife, Theresa, Phyllis Bryant, Amanda Mendieta and Darlene Ayers and husband, Mitchell; grandchildren and spouses, Billy Lyons, Sandra and Nathan Sharpe, Wendy Lyons, Denise Bryant, Angie and Billy Wright, Curtis Bryant Kayla, Jimmy and Shannon Bryant, Juan Benitez and Brianna, Margarita and John Henry McCraw, Nicolas Mendieta, Yolanda and Dustin Montgomery, Clint Hull and Gena and Damon Hall; 21 great grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; sister, Lannie Larson; and a brother, Franklin York. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hull was preceded in death by her first husband, Ray Lyons and her second husband, Willie Hull a grandson, Jason Lyons; sisters, Joy Jones and Annie Edwards; brothers, Alvin, C.L., Claude, and Roy York. Funeral services will be held at 3:30 PM Monday, March 26, 2018 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wes Mosteller and Dustin Montgomery officiating. Burial will follow at Chestnut Grove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday at Moody Funeral Home from 2:00 PM until the time of the service.
