Mrs. Dot Snow Browm

Mrs. Dot Snow Brown, age 89, of Dobson, NC passed away Sunday evening, December 10, 2017 at Central Continuing Care in Mt. Airy, NC. She was born in Surry County to the late Elmer Lee Snow and the late Lillie Mae Davis Snow, on August 4, 1928. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Abraham Lincoln Brown; four sisters, Gertrude Key, Annie Riddle, Ova White, and Lena White; three brothers, Perry Snow, Merritt Snow, Wade Snow and a grandson Neal Lee Brown. She was a member of Fairview Church of Christ and was retired from Tultex. After retirement, she volunteered for The Pantry. Surviving are her daughter, Jill Brown of Dobson, NC: sons and daughter-in-law, Ricky Lee and Judy Brown of Kernersville, Terry Brown of Dobson; granddaughter, Brandi Brown; sister, Fern Poindexter of Dobson; brother and sister-in-law, Mack and Pat Snow of Dobson; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, December 14, 2017 in the chapel of Moody-Davis Funeral Home, with burial in the Fairview Church of Christ Cemetery. Leonard Simpson will officiate the service. The family will receive friends at Moody-Davis Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
