Mrs. Elizabeth "Betty" Metz Conolley

Mrs. Elizabeth “Betty” Metz Conolley, age 72, of Elkin, passed away on Monday, August 27, 2012 at Hugh Chatham Nursing Center after an extended illness. She was born in Baltimore County, Maryland on November 11, 1939 to the late Charles and Irene Kahmer Metz. Mrs. Conolley was a homemaker and of the Jehovah's Witnesses faith. She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband, Gary Lee Conolley, of Elkin; a beloved daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and David Simms, Sr. of Elkin; a grandson, David and wife Karen Simms of Bradenton, Florida and a sister, Doris Walther of Hanover, PA. There will be a memorial service at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday September 2, 2012 at Kindom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses on Johnson Ridge Rd. Elkin, NC 28621.
