Mrs. Eva Sue Puckett Vaught

Mrs. Eva Sue Puckett Vaught, age 49, of Stuart passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2008 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She was born in Stokes County, North Carolina on December 7, 1958, and was a graduate from Patrick County High School and Surry Community College. Mrs. Vaught had worked as a registered nurse for R.J. Reynolds Patrick County Memorial Hospital, Stokes-Reynolds Hospital, Northern Hospital of Surry County, and most recently at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. She was a member of Stuart Seventh Day Adventist Church.
Mrs. Vaught is survived by her husband of 31 years, Keith Bryan Vaught of the home; a son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Vanessa Vaught of Mount Airy, North Carolina; a daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Daniel Turman of Nashville, Tennessee; her parents, John and Bernice Banks Puckett of Stuart; and one brother, Johnnie Puckett of Stuart.
Funeral services for Mrs. Vaught will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Pastor Kevin Powell, Pastor Barry Clement and Pastor Bill Roundtree officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart.
