Mrs. Evelyn Evans Gilpin

Mrs. Evelyn Lizzie Evans Gilpin, 47, of State Road passed away peacefully on July 3, 2013 at Joan & Howard Woltz Hospice Home with her family by her bedside. She was born in Morton Mississippi on April 18, 1966. She was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal faith. Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband, Leslie Harold of State Road; a daughter, Kristina Alberta Gilpin and two sons, Tony Martin Gilpin and Zeke Zalon Gilpin; three grandchildren, Bryanna Danielle Cochran, Jonas Leslie Rojas Rodriquez; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Diane and Stephen Kimura, Darlene and Pancho Juarez and Deborah and Edward Krause; five brothers, Jimmy Lee Gray, Timothy Milton Gray, Dewey Gray, Joey Gray and Christopher Gray; a foster brother, Rusty Whitcomb. Funeral services will be held at 3 pm on Sunday, July 7, 2013 in the chapel of Moody-Davis Funeral Home by Rev. Mark Freeman with burial to follow in Crestwood Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 2 pm until the hour of the service. Special thanks to the staff of Joan & Howard Woltz Hospice Home for their every act of kindness.
