Mrs. Evelyn Marie Hall Williams

Ms. Evelyn Marie Hall Williams, 71, of Mt. Airy, passed away at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home on Wednesday, July 15, 2015. She was born in Carroll County, VA on January 8, 1944, to the late Elmer Garland and Emma Grace Dowell Hall. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to everyone. Left to cherish her memories is her daughter and son-in-law, Theresa and David Meyer; step grandchildren, Sarryn Meyer and David Meyer; her brother and sister-in-law, John "J.T." and Peggy Hall, sister-in-law, Shirley Hall and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Ms. Williams was preceded in death by brothers, E. C., Dewey and Wayne Hall. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gray Kirkman officiating. Burial will follow at The Peoples Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 18, 2015 from 12:00 until 4:00 PM at the home of her brother, John "J.T.", 153 Gloria Dr. Mt. Airy and from 6:00 until 8:00 PM on Monday evening, July 20, 2015 at Moody Funeral Home. The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff of the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home for all the wonderful care and compassion Evelyn was given during her illness.
