Mrs. Fannie Elizabeth Peele

Mrs. Fannie Peele of Mt. Airy passed away Friday, December 14, 2012 at Northern Hospital of Surry County. She was born in Surry County to the late Percy and Euphrates Johnson. Mrs. Peele retired from Dowell Brothers and was of the Baptist Faith. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Jerry Newman of Mt. Airy; two grandchildren, Amanda Vernon Dudek and husband, Mark of San Antonio, TX; Tanner Charles Edwards of Mt. Airy; great-grandchildren, Emma Charlotte Dudek and Madison Elizabeth Dudek; a brother and sister-in-law, Arvil and Peggy Johnson of Mt. Airy; two special friends, Angie Mounce and Diane Barnett. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:30 PM on Monday, December 17, 2012 at Skyline Memory Garden. There will be no formal visitation at the funeral home, but the family will receive friends at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Jerry Newman, 112 Hazel Nut Court, Mt. Airy, NC.
