Mrs. Fay Lowry

Horton of Mt. Airy passed away at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home

Friday, February 13, 2015. She was born

in Surry County on August 28, 1931 to the late Margaret Lowry. She taught piano for over 50 years, playing

in many churches throughout Mt. Airy as well as playing for numerous weddings

and funerals. Mrs. Horton is survived by

her son, Thomas M. Horton of the home; granddaughters, Suzanne Elizabeth

Willard of Pilot Mountain, Jessica Fay Horton of McKinney, TX; a step

granddaughter, Darian Eden Corana of Fort Worth, TX and two great grandchildren. In addition to her mother, Mrs. Horton was

preceded in death by her husband, Thomas W. Horton and her daughter, Billie Faye Willard.

A memorial service will be held at 2PM

on Friday, February 20, 2015 at Mt. Airy Wesleyan Church, 2062 S. Main St. Mt.

Airy. Moody Funeral home in Mt. Airy
