Mrs. Frances Ann Dunkley Spencer

Mrs. Frances Ann Dunkley Spencer, age 82 of Stuart, passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at Pioneer Community Hospital in Stuart. She was born in Martinsville, Virginia on October 9, 1932 to the late James and Irene Cox Dunkley. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Spencer was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Spencer; one great-grandchild, Konner Sturgill; two sisters, Lucy Jane Dunkley and Mary Dunkley Rautio; and one brother, Jimmy Dunkley. She was a member of Creasey Chapel United Methodist Church and Pleasant Grove Christian Church, a member of the CCDF Ladies Auxiliary, and enjoyed The Food and Fun Program.

Mrs. Spencer is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Tommy and Glenda Morse of Stuart, David and Pamela Morse of Martinsville and Johnny and Revonda Morse of Walnut Cove, North Carolina; one daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Michael Conner of Stuart; one step daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Bob Orsina of Florida; nine grandchildren, J.D. Morse, Sherry M. Jones, Morgan Morse, Brent Morse, Angela Steele, Kim Drake, Amy Spence, Kristen Giarla and Zachary Morse; one step grandson; fourteen great-grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 14, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Creasey Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. Ricky Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Moody Funeral Home in Stuart is in charge of the arrangements.
