Mrs. Gail Eleanor Lawson Wilson

Mrs. Gail Eleanor Lawson Wilson, 69 of Mt. Airy passed away at her home Sunday, August 10, 2014. She was born in Surry County on June 15, 1945 to the late Floyd Rex and Maude Alice Gravely Lawson. Mrs. Wilson was a homemaker and a faithful member of Woodville Baptist Church. She is survived by her devoted husband of 52 years, Wallace Wilson; two special sons and daughters-in-law, Mitch and Wendy Wilson of Madison, and Mark and Jackie Wilson of High Point; three grandchildren, Garrett, Danielle and Nicole; 2 step-grandchildren, John and Jack Freeman; an adopted grandson, Christopher Robert Eaton; a sister, Anna Oliver of Mt. Airy and a brother, Kenneth Lawson of Mt. Airy. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by three sisters, Dorothy Deatherage, Elaine Beck and Debbie Law; two brothers, Frank Marshall Lawson and Terry Wayne Lawson. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Keith Love officiating. Burial will follow at Woodville Baptist Church Cemetery.
