Mrs. Ginger Alechia Newman Utley

Mrs. Ginger Alechia Newman Utley, age 59 of Mount Airy, passed away Sunday, February 08, 2015. Mrs. Utley was born in Surry County on September 16, 1955 to the late Troy Edgar and Charlotte Elaine Wood Newman. She was the Chairman of the Cosmetology Dept. at Surry Community College. Surviving are her husband, Jimmy Utley; a son and daughter-in-law, Garth and Kristin Utley; a dear grandson, Christopher Finnegan Utley and a sister and brother-in-law, Marguerite and Steve Burcham. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel. There will not be a formal visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice at 401 Technology Lane, Suite 200, Mount Airy, NC 27030.
