Mrs. Ina Sue Willard Hunter

Mrs. Ina Sue Willard Hunter, 90, of Mt. Airy passed away Monday, November 25, 2013 at Baptist Hospital in Winston Salem. She was born in Stokes County on December 5, 1922 to the late Jim and Sally Goins Willard. Mrs. Hunter was retired from Hanes Manufacturing. She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Linda Hunter, and Nancy Anderson and husband, Andy all of Mt. Airy; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Bud Hunter, and Jimmy and Linda Hunter all of Mt. Airy; grandchildren, Hannah Hunter, Jamie Anderson, Shannon Thomas, Kristel Hurst, Dwayne Hunter, David Hunter and wife, Whitney; great grandchildren, Jasmine Varney, Bryson Varney, Mason Varney, Cayden Hudson and "baby girl" Hunter; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Ruby "Polly" McCoy Patton and husband, Don, of Winston Salem, Ruth Collins of Pinnacle. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hunter was preceded in death by her husband, Romey Weldon "Mutt" Hunter, five sisters, Elsie Goins, Rachel Tilley, Louie Barker, Magdalene Palmer and Josephine Goins; two brothers, Jack and Monroe Willard. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. David Brady officiating. Burial will follow in Skyline Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at Moody Funeral Home on Wednesday from 12:00 until 1:00 PM and at the home of Mrs. Hunter on Tuesday evening after 5:00 PM.
