Mrs. Jackie Scott

Mrs. Millie Jacqueline "Jackie" Coleman Scott, age 80 of Mt. Airy, entered into the more immediate presence of the Lord on Tuesday, December 23, 2014. Mrs. Scott was born in Surry County on July 26, 1934 to Andrew Jackson and Ollie Belle Westmoreland Coleman. She was retired from the Surry County Health Department. Mrs. Scott was a devoted member of Grace Moravian Church where she was deeply loved and will be dearly missed. Surviving are her husband, Bill Scott; sons and daughters-in-law, Greg and Holly Scott, Andy and Kim Scott and Chris and Diana Scott; grandchildren, Dustin Scott and wife Ashley, Andrew Scott, William Scott, Jackson Scott, Dillon Scott, Tyler Stachowicz, Natasha Stachowicz, a great grandson, Sylus Scott and great granddaughters, Lily Scott and Reine Stachowicz. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Scott was preceded in death by sisters, Mary Ruth Burton, Lena Belle Greenwood and Martha Faye Pike. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, December 26, 2014 at Grace Moravian Church by Rev. Jennie L. Hemrick. Burial will follow in God's Acre. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorials may be made to Grace Moravian Church at 1401 N. Main St., Mt.
