Mrs. Jewel Kay Bowman Haynes

Mrs. Jewel Kay Bowman Haynes, 61 of Ararat, VA passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, January 11, 2015. She was born on November 2, 1953 to the late Jesse Junior and Barbara Puckett Bowman. Mrs. Haynes was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jessica and Gerold Pack; grandchildren, Aaron, Robert, Isaac, Noah, Eli, Braylin, Madison and Mason; a sister, Betty McGrady; a brother and sister-in-law, Bobby and Mary Bowman. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Haynes was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Alfred Haynes and a brother, Danny Bowman. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, January, 13, 2015 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ed Bowman officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Cana, VA. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Monday evening at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy.
