Mrs. Jodie Rebecca Holder Mathis

Mrs. Jodie Rebecca Holder Mathis, age 32, of Dobson, NC went home to be with her heavenly Father on Monday morning June 15, 2015 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. She was born in Surry Co. on August 10, 1982 to the Freeman Douglas Holder and Sandra Goad Holder. Jodie loved the Lord and had such strong faith in Him. Jodie was a caring, loving, and faith driven homemaker. She is survived by her loving husband of over thirteen years Bobby Lee Mathis of the home; her parents of Dobson; two sisters Myra Holder Tucker of Rural Hall, and Melissa Renea Holder of Mt. Airy; niece Brenda Mathis, and nephew Jason Allen Ball, Jr.; Special friends Angela Harold of Mt. Airy, Erica Hill of Rural Hall, Josh Whitt of Winston Salem, Tiffany Carter of Mt. Airy. A funeral service will be held on Thursday 11:00 AM in the chapel of Moody-Davis Funeral Home with burial to follow in Little Vine Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Jimmy McCraw will conduct the services.

The family will receive friends at Moody-Davis Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
