Mrs. June Good Snow

Mrs. June Good Snow, age 77 of Mt. Airy, wife of Dr. C. Jack Snow, died Monday May 13, 2013 at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. Mrs. Snow was born in Surry County February 24, 1936 and was the daughter of the late Buford and Eva Croaff Good. Mrs. Snow was a graduate of Flat Rock High School and Appalachian State Teacher's College. She taught music in Wilmington and Greensboro before returning back to Surry County where she taught at East Surry High School for over 20 years. Mrs. Snow was a member of the PEO of Surry County and was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Mount Airy. Surviving are her husband, Dr. C. Jack Snow of the home; two daughters and sons-in-law, Holly and Jeff Cutler of Raleigh, and April and Jeff Lucas of Raleigh; four grandchildren, Jack Terrell of Greensboro, Luke Terrell of Wilmington, Cole Cutler of Raleigh, and Allie Cutler of Raleigh; sister, Mary Good Belton of Mount Airy; sister-in-law, Mary Good of Mount Airy. A memorial service will be held Saturday May 18, 2013 at 1:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church. Dr. Steve Lindsley will be officiating and Mrs. Mary Elliott Michaels, a former student, will also speak. The Snow family will visit after the service in the Ladies Parlor of the church.
