Mrs. Kathy Marie Payne Haynes

Mrs. Kathy Marie Payne Haynes, age 62 of Ararat, passed away Sunday, November 09, 2014 at her home. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Ararat. Kathy was born on October 10, 1952 to the late Frances Collins and Virgil Payne. She was also preceded in death by a half-brother, Richard Gentry and his wife, Barbara. She is survived by her husband, Ronnie Haynes, Sr.; a son, Ronnie (Ron) Haynes, Jr. and wife Deanna; a daughter Gina Roark and husband Greg of Millers Creek; a stepdaughter, Tracie Hawks and husband Chris of Mt. Airy; grandchildren, Braxton, Adalyn, Jessica, Beth, Dakota, Chandler and Carson; a great granddaughter, Jillian; a sister, Betty Mayes and husband Leon of Mt. Airy. The family would like to thank special caregivers, Shea and Angela, special friends, Gail, Amy Burkhart, family and friends for their prayers, cards, calls and food. There will be a celebration of Kathy's life at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy on Tuesday night, November, 11, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. There will be a private funeral at a later date.
