Mrs. Kathy Davis Marquina age 47 of 501 Horton Road, Mt. Airy, NC wife of Mr. Jose Marquina passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at her home. She was born March 24, 1967 in Surry County, NC to the late Charles Franklin Davis and Helen Leona Lemly Davis, Surviving are her husband Jose Marquina of the home, two daughters, Ana Adame and Rey Zuvieta, and Christi Davis and Jeffrey Clodfelter all of Mt. Airy,, sons, Juan Adame and Amber Hayden, Charly Adame and Nikki Smith, Victor Flores and Joe Flores all of Mt. Airy, grandchildren, Sebastian Zuvieta, Giovani Zuvieta, Evan Seal, Cayden Smith-Adame, Xzavian Adame, Cameron Hayden, Zaydus Adame, Izabella Adame, Bryana Davis, Chazity Rodriguez, Lilli Clodfelter,Cashlyn Clodfelter, grandfather, "Papa" Junior Jones, sisters, Stephanie Hernandez, Gina and Jeff Burnette, Angie and Brad Hull, and Michelle Edwards. brothers, Frankie Davis, John Lemly and Roy and Shelly Senter., aunt, Sandra and Butch Holder, uncle Dennis Gates. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Marquina, was preceded in death by her grandmother, Betty Jones, aunt, Debbie Gates and uncle, Robert "Rabbit Gates. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, April 24, 2014 at Temple Baptist Church. The service will be conducted by Rev. Junior Jones. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 12:00 noon until time of the service at Temple Baptist Church.
