Mrs. Lena Ross Gardner

Mrs. Lena Ross Gardner, age 82 of Rocky Mount, passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at Trinity Mission Health and Rehab of Rocky Mount. She was born in Darlington, Maryland on July 3, 1931 to the late William T. and Era Newman Ross. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Gardner was preceded in death by her husband, Ivan Ford Gardner; a son, Ross Ford Gardner; two sisters, Monnie Anderson and Genevieve Freeman; and two brothers, William Ross and Enoch Ross. She was of the Baptist faith.
Mrs. Gardner is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Luann and Andrew Scott Clenney of Rocky Mount; a grandson, Joshua Daniel Gardner; and two great-grandsons, Ashton Gardner and Zane Gardner.
