Mrs. Leona B. Vohs

Mrs. Leona B. Vohs, age 94 of Meadows of Dan, passed away Thursday, March 27, 2014 at Northern Hospital of Surry County in Mount Airy, North Carolina. She was born on October 10, 1919 in Seneca, New Mexico to the late Leo Bernard Broadstreet and Joanna Eunice Munday Broadstreet. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Vohs was preceded in death by her husband, Col. Ralph H. Vohs; one son, Gary Ralph Vohs; one sister, Dorothy Ellen Rector; and two brothers, Leo Bernard Broadstreet and Berle Franklin Broadstreet. She was of the Baptist faith.
Mrs. Vohs is survived by one son, Kim Leo Vohs of Colorado; one daughter-in-law, Judi Vohs of Spring Hill, Florida; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one brother, Leslie Richard Broadstreet of Kansas.
