Mrs. Lettie Mae Snow Tate

Mrs. Lettie Mae Snow Tate, age 70 of Lowgap, passed away Monday, December 1, 2014 at her home. She was born in Surry County on May 12, 1944 to Mal and Lisha Edwards Snow. Mrs. Tate was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be dearly missed by her family and many friends. She is survived by daughters and son-in-law, Robin and Marty Semones, Sandy Hooks; son and his companion, Donnie Tate and Kim Hull, six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; sisters and brother-in-law, Alma Riddle, Thelma and Swanson Goad; and a special friend, Edith Barbour. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Tate was preceded in death by her husband, John D. Tate; a son, Randy Tate; two grandchildren and brothers, Arlis and Franklin Snow. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, December 4, 2014 at Moody Funeral Home with the Rev. Darren Slate officiating. Burial will follow in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.
