Mrs. Linda Kaye Hawks Edwards

Mrs. Linda Kaye Edwards, age 57 of Cana, VA, passed away Monday, May 6, 2013 at Forsyth Medical Center.
Mrs. Edwards was born in Carroll County on February 25, 1956 to Ollie Bea Hawks and the late Burley Odell Hawks. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed. Mrs. Edwards was honored and proud to serve as Volunteer Chaplain at Northern Hospital. Surviving are her husband, Clinton Edwards of the home; a son and daughter-in-law, Jamie and Sharon Edwards of Hillsville; grandsons, Ethan and Emmett Edwards; her mother, Ollie Hawks of Cana; Aunts, Jo Ann Inman and Shirley Hawks and Uncles, Jackie Hawks and Everett Hawks. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Tony Holder. Burial will follow in the Edwards Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday night from 6:00 to 8:00 at the funeral home. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O.
