Mrs. Linda Faye Hill Hawks

Mrs. Linda Faye Hill Hawks, age 68, of Dobson, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 14, 2015 at the Woltz Hospice Home. Mrs. Hawks was born on July 5, 1947, in Carroll County to Kilby Hill and Faye Badgett. Mrs. Hawks is survived by her husband, David Oscar Hawks of the home; a daughter, Angela Hawks Miller of Dobson; a grandson, Ryan Miller of Dobson; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Mary Badgett, and Paula and Wally Hamlin; two nephews and spouses, Zach and Ashley Jurney of Galax, VA, and Paul Nicholas Harrold of Cincinnati, Ohio. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hawks was preceded in death by a daughter, Theresa Lynn Hawks Marshall; a brother, Preston Jack Badgett; and her step-father, Jack Badgett. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Anchored In Jesus Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Stone officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted at Moody Funeral Services for Mrs. Hawks' expenses.
