Mrs. Linda Gray Bunton Moore

Mrs. Linda Gray Bunton Moore, age 66 of Lawsonville, North Carolina, passed away Sunday, December 14, 2014 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She was born in Statesville, North Carolina on August 24, 1948, and was preceded in death by her father, Roy Lincoln Bunton and an infant brother, Lonnie Bunton. She was a member of True Gospel Baptist Church and was a devout Christian. She was a retired nurse with 43 years of service and was a dedicated and loving wife, mother,"the Nana," daughter, sister, and friend.
Mrs. Moore is survived by her husband, Donald Lee Moore of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas and Angela Rose of Stuart, Douglas and Shannon Rose of Germanton, North Carolina; four grandchildren, Thomas Lincoln Rose, Jr., Elizabeth Joselyn Rose, David Lee Rose and Jonathan Douglas Rose; her mother, Mamie Campbell Bunton of Statesville, North Carolina; a brother and sister-in-law, Ray and Helen Bunton of Statesville; two sisters-in-law, Thelma Jean Lawson and husband, Lane of Lawsonville, North Carolina, Janet Moore of Lawsonville; a brother-in-law, Neal Moore and wife, Betty of Walnut Cove, North Carolina; a niece, Carrie Allen and husband, Russell; a nephew, Jay Bunton and wife, Dana; and several great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 18, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Pastor J. R. Shelton and Speaker Ray Bunton officiating. Burial will follow in Snow Creek Primitive Baptist Church. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home, and other times at the home.
