Mrs. Louise Ashburn Smith

Mrs. Louise Ashburn Smith, age 61, of Dobson, NC passed away on Wednesday at Carolina Medical Center in Charlotte, NC. She was born in Forsyth County on July 31, 1952 to the late Monroe and Lola Mae Marsh Ashburn. She was a homemaker and a member of The Community Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one sister Lois Lee Potts. Surviving are her husband of 46 years Ephraim Davis Smith Jr. of the home; Daughter and son-law Tina and Jesse Tate of Mt. Airy; sons and daughters-in-law Michael Davis and Linda Smith of Mt. Airy, Danny Ray and Lyndia Smith of Elkin, Daniel and Teresa "doodlebug" Smith of Dobson, Darrell Smith and Brandi Fowler of Dobson; seven grandchildren Jonathon and Kayla Smith, Anna Smith, Kelly Smith and fiancée Glenn Milloway "Little" DJ Smith and Courtney Cox, Samantha DeHaven, Jesse Robertson, Justin Robertson and Angelica Avila; six great grandchildren Eli Smith, Aubree Smith, Sophia Chavez, Benjamin "Boogie" Wagoner, Johnny Milloway, Jenny Milloway; Three brothers Mike Gwynn, Dale Ashburn, Larry Lee Gwynn and Christy, all of Mt. Airy. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday January 25, 2014 The Community Church with burial to follow in the Church Cemetery. Bro. Ray Hutson and Bro. Charles Stevens will conduct the services. The family will receive friends on Saturday January 25, 2014 at ThCommunity Church from 12:00 Noon until the time of her service at 2:00 P.M.
