Mrs. Lucille Pack Pruitt

Mrs. Lucille Pack Pruitt, age 75 of Lawsonville, North Carolina, passed away Sunday, April 29, 2012 at her home. She was born in Patrick County on September 22, 1936 to the late Harry and Mary Holt Pack. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Pruitt was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Pruitt; one son, Gary Wayne Pruitt; and four brothers, Arthur, Bill, John and Junior Pack. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church.
Mrs. Pruitt is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, David and Glenda Pruitt, Dean and Angie Pruitt, all of Lawsonville; Randy and Rhonda Pruitt of Stuart; one daughter and son-in-law, Dianne and Jeff Martin of Stuart; eight grandchildren, Jacob, Julie, Jenna and Jadyn Pruitt, Tyler Pruitt, Kalee Pruitt, Courtney and Nicholas Martin; two step grandchildren, Dustin and Parthenia Garlock; six sisters, Clarabell Inman, Ada Martin, Nellie Mae Pack, Betty Sue Pack, Barbara Jean Holt and Joann Holt, all of Lawsonville; two brothers, Louis Pack and Irvin Lee Pack, both of Lawsonville; a sister-in-law, Betty Jones of Stuart; and special caregivers, Lisa Grona and Jennifer Ames.
Funeral services for Mrs. Pruitt will be held Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Rev. Joe Beck and Pastor Shaun Draughn officiating. Burial will follow in Aaron's Corner Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart, and at other times at the home.
