Mrs. Lucy Adkins Causey

Mrs. Lucy Adkins Causey, 83 of Lexington, formerly of Mt. Airy passed away Saturday, May 16, 2015 at Grayson Creek Assisted Living. She was born to the late Rhue and Pinktora Joyce Adkins. She retired as a sitter from High Point Hospital and was a member of True Light Baptist Church. Mrs. Causey was a four-time cancer survivor. Mrs. Causey is survived by a daughter, Teresa Coleman; grandchildren and spouses, Bobby Coleman, Jr. and Ashley, Andy Peeples and Tabitha; great grandchildren, Eristen Coleman, Jordan Coleman, Trent Peeples and Ace Peeples; sisters and brother-in-law, Ruth Love and Bill and Louise Newman. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Causey was preceded in death by her husbands, William G. Wright, Joseph Ring and Floyd Causey; a daughter, Gracie West; and fifteen siblings.
