Mrs. Lucy Linn Martin

Mrs. Lucy Linn Martin, age 62 of Stuart, passed away Monday, August 31, 2015 at Memorial Hospital of Martinsville and Henry County. She was born in California on October 5, 1952 to the late Richard Earl Detrick and Mary Linn Thomason Detrick.

Mrs. Martin is survived by her husband, Jerry Martin of the home; four daughters, Chawn Foster of Stuart, Cassy Foster and Chery Shumate, both of Apple Valley, California and Christy Patton of Hesperia, California; seven grandchildren, Brenda, Briana, Cindy Alcantar, Victoria, Dillon, Daveigh Flores and Hailey Shumate; and one sister, Susan Detrick of Kernville, California.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, September 5, 2015 at 12:00 noon in the John Adams Family Cemetery in Patrick Springs. The family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart. Online condolences may be sent by visiting www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
