Mrs. Marie Nunn Hodges

Mrs. Marie Nunn Hodges, age 81 of Meadows of Dan passed away Tuesday at the Laurel Meadows Nursing Home. She was born on Feb. 26, 1933 to the late Clarence Nunn and Dossie Mae Metts Wyatt. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, James Marshall Hodges; a daughter, Joyce Marie Hodges; and one brother, Billy Nunn.
Surviving are a daughter and son in law, Sharon and Chris Wilson of Meadows of Dan; a son and daughter in law, Jimmy and Rhonda Hodges of Floyd; two grandchildren, Leah Foley Delp and husband, Nathan, Isabel Marie Fusu Wilson; four great grandchildren; and two brothers, Otis Nunn of Axton, and Bobby Nunn of Horsepasture.
A graveside service will be held Thursday at 11:00 AM at the Hodges Family Cemetery in Meadows of Dan with Pastor Stewart Childress officiating. There will be no formal visitation.
