Mrs. Martha Alda Pilson Doby

Mrs. Martha Alda Pilson Doby, Age 77 of Dobson, passed away on Tuesday August 5, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. She was born to the late Brady Pilson and Bessie Pilson. Mrs. Doby worked as a legal secretary and a substitute teacher at Copeland Elementary. She was a proud member of North Main Church of Christ, Mt.Airy. She leaves behind a son Tony Doby (Norma) of Dobson. A daughter Robin Kulhawik (Mark) of Hatboro, PA. Grandchildren, Stephanie Ann Holder (Blake) of Dobson, Kristin Stanley (Raymond) of Dobson and Chad Johnson of Mt.Airy, Ashley and Amber Clancy, Abby Kulhawik of Hatboro, PA. Great Grandchildren, Peyton and Brooke Holder of Dobson .Sister, Hazel Comer, (Odell). Sister-n - law, Lois Stanley (Ted). Mrs. Doby was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Lettie Pilson Key; Husband Arnold Gray Doby. A Memorial Services will be held 7:00 P.M. at Moody-Davis Funeral Home of Dobson, on Thursday August 7, 2014 with Robert Giesbers officiating .Visitation will be on Thursday from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 pm the time of her service. The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to Mtn. Valley Hospice of Pilot Mtn; a special thank you to Janice Carter of hospice for all her love and laughter the last days of Mrs. Doby's life.
