Mrs. Mary Magdelene Tate Haynes

Mrs. Mary
Magdalene Tate Haynes, age 81 of Mt. Airy, passed away Saturday, January 03,
2015 at Twelve Oaks. Mrs. Haynes was
born in Carroll County on July 19, 1933 to Lester and Flora Ann Meredith Tate. She was a loving mother, grandmother and
great grandmother who will be dearly missed by all her family and many friends. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law,
Jeannie and Tim Gates; grandchildren, Mary Jean Keller fiancé Ricky Hiatt,
Billie Jean France and husband Brant; great grandchildren, Bryanna Thomas,
Garrett Keller, Ricky Hiatt, Jr. Bradon France and Isabella France; sisters and
brother-in-law, Zettie and Robert Gwyn and Joyce Ann Tate and brothers and
sisters-in-law, David and Brenda Tate and Jake and Katherine Tate. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Haynes was
preceded in death by her husband, Vestal Haynes; a son-in-law, Billy Crabb and brothers,
G. W. Tate and Clifton Tate. Funeral
services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, January 5, 2014 at Moody Funeral Home
Chapel by Rev. Roy Quesenberry. Burial
will follow in Rocky Ford Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday beginning at
noon. The family would like to express their deep gratitude to Twelve Oaks
for the love and care given to Mrs. Haynes.
