Mrs. Mary Ware Hunt

Mrs. Mary Ware Hunt, age 89, of Stuart, passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at Pioneer Community Hospital in Stuart. She was born on Oct. 31, 1927 in Winston-Salem, NC to the late Ray V. Owens and Opal Handy Owens. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Elinor Owens Hill. Mrs. Hunt was a longtime member of Stuart United Methodist Church.

Surviving are her husband of 68 years, Nelson Hunt of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Eddie and Diane Hunt of Stuart; three grandchildren, Emily Hunt, Olivia Hunt, Molly Hunt; and her special caregivers, Sue Reynolds and Shelby Stevens.

The family will receive friends Sunday, April 30, 2017 from 1:00 to 2:00 at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart. A graveside service will immediately follow in the Patrick Memorial Gardens with Pastor Tommy Shepherd officiating.
