Mrs. Mary Bell Culler Jessup

Mrs. Mary Bell Culler Jessup, age 91 of Meadows of Dan, passed away Sunday, December 08, 2013 at Trinity Mission in Hillsville. Mrs. Jessup was born in Patrick County on April 22, 1922 to Dalton and Valerie Stanley Culler. She was a loving mother, grandmother and caring neighbor. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Frieda Jessup of Hillsville; two grandchildren, three step grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; eight step great-great grandchildren and a sister, Reva Painter of Laurel Meadows. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Jessup was preceded in death by her husband, George Carl Jessup; sisters, Mecie Terry and Wavy Kimble and a brother, Allen Culler. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel of Mt. Airy by Rev. Nathan Montgomery. Burial will follow in Bell Spur Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday night from 6:00 to 8:00 at the funeral home.
