Mrs. Mary Fellows McNamee

Mrs. Mary Fellows McNamee, age 96 of Martinsville passed away Thursday, Apr. 3, 2014 at Memorial Hospital of Martinsville and Henry County. She was born in Tuscaloosa, AL on March 23, 1918 to the late John James Fellows and Gertrude McAlpine Fellows. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Edwin Thomas McNamee, Jr. Mrs. McNamee was a member of Stuart Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are a sister, Alice Fellows of Manhattan, NY; a niece, Victoria Strauss and husband, Rob Robertson; a nephew, Konrad Strauss and wife, Brenda Nelson-Strauss; a great niece, Chloe Strauss; and a special friend, Margaret Witt.
A graveside service will be held Sunday, April 6, 2014 at 2:00 PM at the Stuart Cemetery with Pastor Danny Redman and Chaplain Paul Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until time to proceed to the cemetery at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart. Memorials may be made to the Stuart Presbyterian Church Building Fund, P.O.
