Mrs. Mary Kathleen Moore Shackleford

Mrs. Mary Kathleen Moore Shackleford, 74, of Mt. Airy passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2015 at Twelve Oaks Assisted Living Center. She was born in Surry County on July 13, 1941 to the late George and Lula Maude Flinchum Moore. Mrs. Shackleford is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Kim and Randy Bullins, Kathy Lynn Shackleford; two sons and a daughter-in-law, James Vance Shackleford, Jr., and Shane and Angela Shackleford; five grandchildren, a sister, Jeanette Barber; a brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Judy Moore. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Shackleford was preceded in death by two sisters, Geneva Amburn and Magdalene Lentini; three brothers, Mike, Charles and Melvin Moore. There are no services planned at the funeral home although the family will be having a memorial service at a later date.
