Mrs. Michelle Lynette Edwards Wilson

Mrs. Michelle Lynette Edwards Wilson, age 41 of Cana, VA, passed away unexpectedly Friday, January 31, 2014 in Cana. Mrs. Wilson was born in Surry County on May 7, 1972 to Austin Lee Edwards and the late Mary Isley Edwards. She was employed with Food Lion and was a loving mother. Surviving are her husband, Andy Wilson; a daughter Courtney Wilson; a son, Andrew Wilson; a new granddaughter, Peyton Leigh Thomas; her father, Austin Edwards; sisters and brothers-in-law, Debbie and Anthony Brown, April and Danny Sumner, Donna and Alan Smith and Melissa Edwards; a brother Barry Edwards and his partner, David Slater and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, February 6, 2014 at Lambsburg Missionary Baptist Church by Rev. Isreal Easter. Burial will follow in Chestnut Grove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday night from 6:00 to 8:00 at Lambsburg Missionary Baptist Church.
