Mrs. Mildred Jeannette Westervelt

Mrs. Mildred Jeannette George Westervelt, 86 of Mt. Airy passed away Twelve Oaks Rest Home Thursday, June 19, 2014. She was born on January 14, 1928 in Glen Ridge, NJ to the late Leighton and Mildred Davis George. Mrs. Westervelt retired from ADT Security. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Tina Lee and Bernie Wolek of Jackson, NJ and a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Sue Westervelt of Mt. Airy; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Leighton George of Orangevale, CA and Robert and Jean George of Wilmington, NC. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Westervelt was preceded in death by her husband, George Delatush Westervelt, III. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
