Mrs. Minnie Alice Cockram DeHart

Mrs. Minnie Alice Cockram DeHart, age 80 of Woolwine, passed away Sunday, August 23, 2015 at her home. She was born in Patrick County on July 12, 1935 to the late Buren and Pat Harbour Cockram. In addition to her parents, Mrs. DeHart was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Cline DeHart, and an infant brother.

Mrs. DeHart is survived by four daughters, Ann DeHart Scotti of New Jersey, Ellen Sue DeHart Carty of Salem, Jean DeHart of Boone, North Carolina, Margaret DeHart McManus and husband, Mike of Pulaski; and five grandchildren, Jennifer Carty, Melissa Carty, Evan McManus, Daniel McManus and Jackson McManus.
A graveside service will be held Friday, August 28, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the Cockram Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart. If desired, memorials may be made to Smith River Rescue Squad, P.O.
