Mrs. Mozelle Rilely Crotts Jones

Mrs. Mozelle Rilely Crotts Jones age 79 of 542 Allred Mil Road, Mt. Airy, NC widow of Mr. Ivan Monroe Jones passed away Monday, February 11, 2013 at Golden Living Nursing Center. She was born April 22, 1933 in Carroll County, VA to the late Greely Edgar and Stella Myrtle Spencer Crotts. She was retired from Mt. Airy Mantle and Table Company. She was a member of Closer Walk Baptist Church. Surviving are a daughter, Wanda Faye Butcher, Mt. Airy, two sons, Franklin Crotts, Oklahoma City, OK and Roger Crotts, Mt. Airy, three grandchildren, Wannetta George, Mt. Airy, Juanita Bounds and Christina Harves both of Oklahoma City, OK, eight great grandchildren, a sister, Lois Lovell, Dobson, and two brothers, Aaron Crotts, Cana, VA and Vestal Crotts, Madison. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Crotts was preceded in death by two daughters, Bonnie Lou Harves and Betty Jean Crotts and a brother , Osler Crotts. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Thursday, February 14, 2013 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Doug Cockerham. Burial will follow in Sandy Ridge Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8 Wednesday night at Moody Funeral Home.
