Mrs. Nancy Alice Banks Bobbitt

Mrs. Nancy Alice Banks Bobbitt, age 71 of Mt. Airy, passed away Thursday, September 3, 2015 at her home. Mrs. Bobbitt was born in Surry County on January 31, 1944 to Harry Blaine Banks, Sr. and Bernice Kathleen Hill Banks. Mrs. Bobbitt leaves behind to cherish her memory, daughters and sons-in-law, Robin and Derrick Hill; Tammy and Gregory Carpenter; sons and daughters-in-law, Jimmy and Patti Bobbitt and Doug and Denise Bobbitt; grandchildren, Kris Leftwich and husband Blake, Kelly Karns, Kari Perin and husband Tim, Keelen Carpenter and wife Aubree, Alisha Carpenter, Rachel Carpenter, Erette Bobbitt and wife Brooke, Dillon Bobbitt, Taylor Bobbitt and Caitlin Bobbitt and ten wonderful great grandchildren. Mrs. Bobbitt was preceded in death by her husband, James Wade Bobbitt. All services will be private but the family welcomes condolences at Robin's home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Humane Society or to the charity of the donor's choice.
