Mrs. Nancy Shelor Wynn

Mrs. Nancy Shelor Wynn, age 87 of Minden, Nevada, and formerly of Patrick County, passed away on June 7, 2015 at her home. She was born in Patrick County on August 27, 1927 to the late Posey Lester Shelor and Eloise Badger Newell Shelor. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wynn was preceded in death by her first husband, Alvis Simmons Wingfield; her second husband, Malcolm E. Wynn; three step-sons, Gary Wynn, A.S. "Sonny" Wingfield, Jr., John R. Wingfield; three brothers, Glenn D. Shelor, Morgan L. Shelor and Joseph B. Shelor; and one sister, Alice Campbell. Mrs. Wynn was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Highland, California and was a retired accountant.

Mrs. Wynn is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Don and Sandy Wingfield of Minden, Nevada; a daughter, Annette Kahn of Tucson, Arizona; a step-son, Dan Wynn of Goleta, California; a step-daughter, Sheila Stratton of Alta Loma, California; fourteen grandchildren; more than two dozen great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Edna A. Williams and Susan E. Shelor, both of Meadows of Dan.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 27, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Meadows of Dan Baptist Church Fellowship Hall with Andrew Shelor officiating. Burial will follow in the Meadows of Dan Baptist Church Cemetery with a reception immediately thereafter. If desired, memorials may be made to The Gideons International, P.O.
