Mrs. Patricia Mae Douglas

Mrs. Patricia Mae Douglas, 62, of Lowgap passed away May 25, 2014 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston Salem. She was born in Surry County on May 16, 1952 to Rosa Lee Moncus Goins and the late Coy Eugene Goins, Sr. Mrs. Douglas worked at the Waffle House. She is survived by her husband, Gary Douglas of the home; daughters and son-in-law, Donna Lynn Burchette of Lowgap, Michelle and Jimmy Reed of Mt. Airy, Rose Mary Norman of Lowgap; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; her mother, Rosa Lee Goins of Elkin; brothers, Johnny Goins and his fiancée, Meegan Utt, Gene Goins, Bobby Goins all of Mt. Airy, Michael Goins of Elkin; a half-sister, Ella Jean Tate of Squirrel Spur, VA.; a brother-in-law, Ronnie Douglas of Lowgap. In addition to her father Mrs. Douglas was preceded in death by a grandchild. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. David Sparks officiating. Burial will follow in Fisher Gap Primitive Baptist Church.
