Mrs. Patricia "Renee" Harris Hagwood

Mrs. Patricia “Renee” Harris Hagwood, age 54, of Thurmond, NC passed away on Friday evening December 23, 2016 at the Joan & Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. She was born in Surry Co. to Ted B. Harris and the late Magdalene Draughn Harris. She was a Payroll Clerk for Brendle's in Elkin and later for Insteel Industries in Mount Airy. She was also a member of Central Full Gospel Church in State Road. Surviving are her husband Henry Hagwood of the home; daughter and son-in-law Sarah and Grant Day of Elkin; grandchild Mason Day; her father and stepmother Ted and Judith Harris of Thurmond; brothers and sister-in-law Aubrey Harris of High Rock Lake, Tony and Julie Harris of Thurmond; four nieces Morgan Harris, Jessica Harris, Abby Hagwood, and Haley Hagwood; three nephews Aubrey Snow, Chad Harris, and Brent Harris. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday December 26, 2016 at Central Full Gospel Church, with burial to follow in the Church Cemetery. Rev. Bobby Norman will conduct the services. The family will receive friends at the church on Monday from 12:00 noon until the time of her service at 2:00 PM. The family request in lieu of flowers memorial be made to the Joan & Howard Woltz Hospice Home 945 Zephyr Rd. Dobson, NC 27017. Moody-Davis Funeral Home in Dobson is serving the Hagwood family.
