Mrs. Patricia Ann DeVor Smith

Mrs. Patricia Ann DeVor Smith, age 67 of Dobson passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home on Tuesday, October 7, 2014. She was a retired clerk from Walmart and a member of Fairview Baptist Church. Survivors include her loving husband of 50 years, Roy Eugene LaVerne Smith of the home; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Ronald Lee and Connie DeVor of Bluefield, VA and Buford and Sylvia DeVor of Norfolk, VA.; three grandsons, William Jack Murphy, Aaron Joseph Bridgeman and Christopher James Bridgeman. and a son-in-law, James Harold Bridgeman. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph Fredrick and Gracie Lee Thompson DeVor; a daughter, Janet Bridgeman; two brothers, Richard DeVor and Ralph Fredrick DeVor, Jr. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at 7 PM on Thursday, October 9, 2014 in the chapel of Moody-Davis Funeral Home where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
