Mrs. Patsy Lou Taylor Morales Luna

Mrs. Patsy Lou Taylor Morales Luna, age 61 of Mt. Airy, passed away Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at her home. Mrs. Luna was born in Surry County on June 20, 1953 to Richard and Thelma Tate Taylor. She was a loving homemaker. Surviving are sons and daughters-in-law, Marty and Dawn Draughn and Junior and Jennifer Draughn; grandchildren, Katlin, Tony, Nathan, Hailey, Miranda, Cindy, Marty Jr., Sumer, Kailey and Levi; sisters and brothers-in-law, Pansy Taylor, Pauline and Greg Younce, Parthene and Kevin Chapman; her stepmother, Wilma Taylor; half-sisters, Vicky Ritter, Mary Lynn Tate and Nancy Tate; a half-brother and sister-in-law, Howard and Elsie Tate and special friends, Carlos Vasquez, Martha Robinson, Phillip and Becky Draughn and Dale Ashburn. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Luna was preceded in death by her husband, Modesto Morales Luna a sister, Penny Sue Bullins and a half-brother, Charles Tate. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, September 26, 2014 at Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery by Rev. Doug Cockerham and Rev. Jim Clark. The family will receive friends Friday beginning at 9:30 at Moody Funeral Home and at other times at the home of Marty and Dawn Draughn at 137 Cedar Point Dr., Mt. Airy.
