Mrs. Patsy Ray Hardy Snow, age 83 of Dobson, NC passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday afternoon January 10, 2018. She was born in Surry County on June 12, 1934 to the late Charlie Cisrow Hardy and the late Stella Mae Bullin Hardy. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Ruby Hardy Kidd; one brother Melvin Hardy. She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church. She previously worked at Hanes Manufacturing Co., Washington Mills, Snow’s Village Inn Restaurant and other restaurants, and retired from the Surry County Courthouse. Surviving are her husband Mack Lee Snow of the home; daughter Donna Ray Snow of the home; two sons Steven Snow and special friend Linda Sugg of Dobson, Tim and wife Judy Snow of Dobson; and granddaughter Lauren and husband Mikey Matthews of Mooresville, NC, and one brother, Donnie Hardy and wife Brenda of Dobson. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Friday January 12, 2018 in the chapel of Moody-Davis Funeral Home, with burial to follow in the Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery. Brother Tim Smith will officiate the service. The family will receive friends on Friday from 2:00 PM until the time of her service at 3:00 PM in the Moody-Davis Funeral Home visitation room. The family has requested in lieu of flowers memorials be made to Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care 401 Technology Lane Suite 200, Mt. Airy, NC 27030.
