Mrs. Pauline Jessup Phipps-Evans

Mrs. Pauline Jessup Phipps-Evans, age 75 of Winston-Salem, passed away Thursday, December 27, 2012 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mrs. Phipps-Evans was born in Patrick County on May 21, 1937 to Charlie and Eunice Jessup. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many. She is survived by her husband, Robert Evans of the home; sons and a daughter-in-law, Charles and Tammy Pruitt of Winston-Salem; Ronnie Pruitt of Sierra Vista, AZ; grandchildren, Brittany Pruitt and Tyler Pruitt; a sister, Lou Hill of Wilmington; and a brother-in-law, L. C. Nunn of Atlanta, GA. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Phipps was preceded in death by a daughter, Cheryl Lynn Pruitt. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, December 31, 2012 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Buford Jessup. Burial will follow in Jessup Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday night from 6:00 to 8:00 at the funeral home.
