Mrs. Penny Felts Jones

Mrs. Penny Felts Jones, age 51, of Ararat, VA passed away on Wednesday March 21, 2012 at her home. She was born in Surry County, NC on June 18, 1960 to the Rev. Jimmy Felts and to Lucy Lee Barker Felts. She was a homemaker and attended Trinity Faith Community Church in Cana. Preceded her in death was a daughter Kellie Deana Humphries; her maternal grandfather Porter Frank Barker and her fraternal grandparents Franklin and Josie Cullers Felts. Surviving is her husband Faron R. Jones of Cana, VA; son and daughter-in-law Kevin Lee and Brandy Lynn Humphries of Cana, VA; step son Matthew Jones of Cana, VA; grandchildren Daniel Humphries, Emily Woods, and Austin Cagle; her parents Rev. Jimmy and Lucy Lee Barker Felts of Cana, VA; Maternal grandmother Ernestine Barker Van-Opstal of Asheboro, NC; Graveside Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday March 23, 2012 in the Dobson City Cemetery with Rev. Gary Sawyers conducting. The family will receive friends at Moody-Davis Funeral Home in Dobson on Friday March 23, 2012 from 12:00 Noon until time to go to the cemetery.
